Trust and Estate Attorney - Law and Reorder, A Division of Flex-Time Lawyers LLC
The firm is looking for an attorney with 7-plus years of experience. This position is with the personal wealth division of a New York bank where the attorney is responsible for support of trusts and estates issues at the bank. The position is full-time and will last at least until the end of the year with a potential extension of time. Specific duties include:
· Counseling the bank and its private wealth division on trusts and estates related activities.
· Providing legal advice to members of the division including management and individual trust officers who administer accounts where the bank is acting as a fiduciary.
· Reviewing and providing advice on personal wealth and bank related policies and procedures.
· Serving as the bank's contact with the bank's regulators (primarily the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) for regulatory matters that involve the bank's personal wealth division.
· Preparing and coordinating regulatory responses in conjunction with bank management.
· Providing oversight of the complaints process for matters related to the personal wealth division, including providing management support and responses to client complaints.

Associate General Counsel - NYU Lagone Medical Center
Working under the general direction of more senior lawyers in the Office of Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing competent, timely legal advice and assistance on non-litigation issues relating to our research activities, including primarily contracting and regulatory compliance matters arising out of externally-funded, domestic and international clinical trials. We will look to you to draft and review agreements such as federal contracts and sub-contracts, clinical research agreements (with multi-national investigators and study sites), outside service agreements, consulting agreements, material transfer agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. You will also perform other related duties as assigned. To qualify, you must be an attorney with at least 3 to 5 years' legal experience with a major law firm, corporation, educational institution, non-profit organization, contract research organization, and/or government agency. You must possess a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; a strong academic background; excellent analytical, communication, and advising skills; and demonstrated judgment and discretion. Membership in the New York bar or eligibility for admission on motion are also required. A transactional background, with some experience in advising universities or pharmaceutical or biotech companies on international clinical trial compliance issues, and some knowledge of human subjects' research, data privacy and/or federal grants, is preferred.

Federal Court (EDNY) Looking for Qualified Mediators and Arbitrators
Prospective candidates must have been members of a state bar for five or more years and trained in mediation or arbitration, and they will be interviewed and screened by the court. Mediators serve pro bono and will not receive compensation. Arbitrators are compensated, based on whether they serve alone or jointly. A pre-requisite for certification to the mediation panel is the successful completion of at least two days of mediation training from a recognized ADR organization, university, or court. A pre-requisite for certification to the arbitration panel is the successful completion of at least half a day of arbitration training from a recognized ADR organization, university, or court.
